The Acclaimed Thibaut Technique

Pioneered by a Leading Language Specialist

Professor Toto offers the only interactive language lessons developed by a practicing, professional children’s language educator who knows that children thrive on emotion and interaction, and learn differently.

Founder and Director of the acclaimed Language Workshop for Children, Francois Thibaut was the first language educator to attempt to teach kids a foreign language. What he discovered has transformed language acquisition and education. Contrary to popular belief of the time, Thibaut realized that the younger the child, the higher the capacity to learn. The success of his youngest students spoke for itself. Inspired by what he saw in these first classes, Thibaut built what has become a highly-acclaimed immersion language school. Forty years later, the success stories keep rolling in!

Classroom-Tested in the Renowned Language Workshop For Children

And, like Language Workshop for Children classrooms, Professor Toto brings a child’s mind to life with color, humor, friends, and action. Kids laugh, respond, and become emotionally involved so their minds absorb everything they are seeing, hearing, and saying. With Professor Toto, kids can master a language’s distinct sounds and grammar, build vocabulary, and practice words in a happy, child-friendly environment that leaves them begging for more Toto!

After witnessing the success of Professor Toto in his language workshop classes, Thibaut gifted the professor with his own series — allowing children everywhere to learn a new language effortlessly through intentionally designed educational technology for kids.

Driven by Research and Results

Only Professor Toto and the LWFC use the innovative Thibaut Technique to combine a carefully structured language acquisition curriculum with childrens’ innate love of play. Pioneered by Thibaut in 1973, The Thibaut Technique guides children in learning a second language in the same way they learned their native language- naturally. First they hear, then they understand, and finally they speak.

Winner of six major children’s media awards, Professor Toto lets parents capture the window of opportunity when their child possesses the greatest capacity to learn and retain language– all while providing a host of activities for kids at home.

Full immersion in the language is the best way to learn! The only way to learn a language at a young age is to completely immerse the child in that language. Alexander loves the songs. It is very well done.
